Robbee Polish: Holo Topcoat

Yay! I'm finally posting again! I've been making some holo topcoat!
If you don't know what holo topcoat is... Holo Topcoat is is a clear base with rainbow holographic particles (I used Spectraflair for the holo powder). This holographic glitter can be seen in direct light the best and you can definitely see maximum holo power in the sun!
And I am also now selling this polish. You can find how to buy Holo Topcoat on one of my pages at the top of my blog labeled "Robbee Polishes".
And now I will spam you with holo pictures!

Julep- Leah

Hello Everyone! Today I have a swatch of my first Julep polish.... Leah!
Leah is a grass green with a hint of shimmer.

I'm sorry about the color accuracy; My camera does NOT like taking pictures of greens. Leah is more of a neon green than in these pictures.
I don't know if I got a bad bottle but I wasn't all that impressed by the application..... Leah is probably a sheer-jelly-creme. Leah took 2-3 coats for opacity and then the polish got a little gloopy on my ring finger. D:
Leah is a very unique color, I don't think I have one like it in my collection! This color reminds me of green frogs and green peas.
The best way to apply this color is to start with a thin coat, wait for it to dry. Then put your second coat.
Overall, I think Leah is a really pretty color but you might need some patience in applying it.

My Nail Polish Collection

Hello Dear Reader! I finally got a better case to hold all of my nail polish~ It is almost 5 times bigger than the one I was using before. Here's what it looks like:
I use to hold my nail polish in smaller drawers; The polishes couldn't even stand upright because the drawer case was too short! Here's the old container I used: they're all laying flat because there's no room for them to stand up.
I first layered the drawers with a shelf liner so that the polishes won't slide when I open the drawers.
On the first drawer, I lined all of my Revlon-Top Speed polishes.
Then I put all of my other Revlons: (As you can see, I have a lot of Revlon....hehe..)
Then I placed my Wet N Wild Shines.
 Then my Dr.'s Remedy polishes.
Then I placed Wet N Wild Fast Drys, my Pure Ice, and my two Finger Paints Flakies.
The last polishes I placed were my China Glaze-For Audrey, my Love & Beauty purple polish, and my three Bootie Babe polishes.
Here's what the first drawer looks like now:
Now here is my second old drawer, its a horrible mess!
Now I started on my second (new) drawer. First I placed, my Calar polishes from Hong Kong, then my Sally Hansen black Crackle.
Then, I placed all of my SinfulColors polishes.
Then next to my SinfulColors, I placed my Sally Hansen Nail Prisms.
Then I placed my Longer & Stronger polishes and my Milani glitter polishes:
The I placed some randon brands from the Philippines, and my NYC, mini Wet N Wilds, Hard Candy and Bon Bons polishes.
Then I placed some of my frankens and other polishes.
Then I placed some more random polishes and some of my nail art stripers.
Now here's what my second drawer looks like from the outside:
And then on the third drawer, I put all of my nail art brushes, dotting tools, stickers, sponges, files, cotton balls, acetone, and other nail art stuff.
And now here's what my polish collections looks like from the outside!
After all of my polish organization, I ended up with 136 polishes! Sadly, I had to throw away 10 of my polishes. These 10 had to be kicked out of my polish collection because they are not able to be used anymore. :'(

Phew! That was alot! I'm hoping to do a list of all of my polishes, but I always put that off to the side. :P I hope you enjoyed my polish collection, Thanks for reading!

Robbee's 1st Birthday!

Today is Robbee's 1st Birthday!!! Yay! He officially turned one year old today, so I celebrated with a little nail art!
For those of you who don't know who Robbee is... Robbee is my pet rabbit. I've had him for almost a year and he's a Dutch mix rabbit. He is litterbox trained just like a cat. He likes nail polish just as much as I do, but he hates nail polish remover. xD
Here's the nail art I did for his birthday! On my middle finger is the number one (since he is one year old). On my ring finger is a picture of Robbee with a B-day hat!
The base color I used is Dr.'s Remedy-Serene Silver Glitter.

I can't believe Robbee is one year old; He's growing so fast! Even though Robbee can't say "Thank you," your birthday greetings are lovingly appreciated!

Guest Post from Brenda: 4 Steps To Take Care Of Your Nails

Hello Everyone! Today I have a guest post for you, from Brenda. Brenda writes mostly about beauty, and today she will show you 4 Steps To Take Care Of Your Nails.

4 Steps To Take Care Of Your Nails

If you want your manicure and pedicure to last longer then you have to take special care of your nails. You can go to a salon or do it yourself at home and make it easier on your pockets. So, girls, pick up your nail files and get down to work with these 4 easy steps:

1.                  Exfoliate Cuticles – The first step to skin care is exfoliating. It is essential to get rid of dead surface skin to have a glowing complexion. The same is true for the skin around your nails. Exfoliate well and do it properly for a beautifully glowing and healthy skin.
2.                  Homemade Scrub – Use a good homemade scrub to exfoliate. You can make your scrub at home using oil and brown sugar. This combination is one of the best moisturizing beauty scrubs. It not only sloughs away dead surface cells but also moisturizes skin and nails.
3.                  Moisturize Cuticles - Invest in good cuticle oil, as this will keep your manicure fresh. Shahnaz husain products will be a good pick in this regard. Dry cuticles look ugly. Rubbing them with this oil will ensure that you have good-looking fingers and toes. Use them on the knuckles, toe-tops, and even elbows. They work wonders.
4.                  Protect The Top Coat – Enhance your manicure and pedicure’s life by touching up the topcoat of your nail color every 2 days. You can use your hands and feet as much as you want and the touch up will ensure that the manicure stays fresh for a long time.
5.                  Trend Of The Season - Use colors like shimmering electric blue for a bright look. Another popular trend this season is using a different nail color on one finger or toe. Use glittering colors on your feet and wear shoes with open toes to show off your beautiful nails.

Colors that are always hot are orange and corals. You can use them anytime and as they are bright, they will lift up the look of your nails and your mood too. Remember to take care of your cuticles and nails first. Unless they are shining and look healthy, there is not much that you can do.

Thanks for the great article, Brenda!

Holo Franken: Purple Haze!

Hello Everyone! I know, I haven't been posting on my blog lately, but that's because I was working on my new franken.....
Purple Haze!
Purple Haze is a purple holo and it's much more prettier in real life; These pictures do not show how beautiful Purple Haze is. This is my first holo franken and I'm really glad it turned out this pretty!

When, I made this franken, I immediately thought of making my own nail polish brand! I've always dreamed of making polishes, like Lynderella, and Hare polishes, etc. So, I decided to call my brand........
Robbee Polish!
Yup, Robbee polishes! Isn't the rabbit on the bottle so cute?? I drew it myself. :) My pet rabbit, Robbee really loved the idea of his face being on a nail polish bottle. :D

Here's a close-up of Purple Haze, *DROOOOOOL*

And... this picture got rotated, (by Blogger) but its still so pretty!

 One more picture......
And guess what?!?! I will be including this polish in my 400 follower giveaway! Only 25 more followers 'til the giveaway starts! :D

Thanks for reading!
